Impacts on biodiversity, ecosystems, and ecosystem services arise from various impact drivers. These include GHG emissions, land use change, water and other resource use, the release of pollutants, spills, the introduction of invasive species, and disturbances. Each of these factors can significantly alter natural habitats and the services they provide, leading to adverse effects on both the environment and local communities. OMV is committed to addressing these impact drivers to minimize their negative consequences on biodiversity and ecosystems within our operations.
